Shape the Future of Care - With Us

At The District Nurses we know that the best ideas often come from the people who use our services every day. Your experiences help us understand what’s working well - and what could be better.

This is a meaningful opportunity to help shape the future of care in Tasmania and make a real difference for older people across our community.

Join Our Client Advisory Body (CAB)

The Client Advisory Body is a small group of clients, family members and carers who meet with us to share their views about aged care. You don’t need any special background or experience - just a willingness to talk about what matters to you.

Your voice helps us design services that are respectful, caring, and truly centred on the people we support.

Why We'd Love You to Join

Who has the next great idea to unlock better aged care services? You do!

By joining the CAB, you can:

  • Share your ideas and lived experience
  • Tell us what’s working and what could be improved
  • Help guide how we plan and deliver our services
  • Be part of creating a kinder, more supportive future for everyone

Your voice will make a real difference.

How It Works

The CAB meets three times a year at our Moonah office. If you live outside Hobart - or would prefer to join online - that’s absolutely fine. Meetings run for about 90 minutes.
