Partners in Care
As a client of The District Nurses you can have some responsibilities to The District Nurses and its staff. 

You can assist us by:

  • Treating all staff with courtesy and respect.

  • Providing a safe and smoke free work environment for staff.

  • Asking questions to clarify anything you do not understand.

  • Providing accurate information to assist in planning your care.

  • Being actively involved in your care.

  • Accept the result of any decisions you make regarding your care.

  • Notifying the office if visit times need to be altered.

Services will be ceased or withdrawn in circumstances where the client;

  • No longer requires the expertise of home nursing care.

  • In unsafe to be at home.

  • Is continually uncooperative in matters relating to care.

  • Fails to provide a safe working environment for staff providing a service in their homes.
