| Fees The District Nurses has remained a "private not-for-profit" organisation. We do however provide services on behalf of the Government's Home and Community Care (HACC) Program. Our service is available to anyone who has a genuine need for home nursing care. HACC services such as community nursing, personal care and home help attract a $5 per service fee to a maximum of $10 in any week for pensioners. Should the fees cause you difficulties you may apply to have these waived - please ask your nurse, personal carer or home help provider for details. For Motor Accident Insurance Board (MAIB), Workers Compensation and private clients there exists a fee scale.
