To ensure a high standard of care is maintained, the organisation
welcomes compliments and criticisms from clients and allied service providers.
Constructive comments help us to improve our service to you. Any complaints or concerns regarding our service will be
kept strictly confidential and will not jeopardise your right to receive
quality home care. We uphold your right to complain, and guarantee a prompt
response.
Please refer to the following procedure should you have any comments or
complaints you would like to make about our service.
Initially if possible, comments should be discussed with your Primary Community
Nurse. If this is not possible, you can contact the Director of Nursing in person,
in writing, or by telephoning 6273 3000.
If your complaint has not been
dealt with to your satisfaction the Chief Executive Officer of The District
Nurses should be contacted via our reception staff.
If required, comments can be made to the Health Services Commissioner in
writing or by telephoning 6233 6348 or free call 1800 001 170.
Where a grievance involves a breach of the rights of any individual and
is of a serious criminal nature, the relevant authorities will be notified.
We value your comments. Your feedback is instrumental in assisting us to
provide the best possible service to our clients and our community.
